Toorak’s ‘Little Milton’ for sale - The Australian

Publicity Press managing director Ross Copeland and wife Gina have listed “Little Milton”, fronting Albany Rd, Toorak, in Melbourne through Forbes Global Properties directors Michael Gibson and Robert Fletcher. The guide price is $27m-$29m for the prestigious estate on the so-called billionaire’s row. Set on a 2476sq m corner holding, it features a 1926 arts and craft-style mansion designed by Muriel Stott, one of Australia’s first female architects. The home was designed for the Moran family – who owned Australia’s largest grocery chain, Moran & Cato – and was modelled on their home in the Cotswolds, England. Little Milton was a staple of the society pages in the early days as the location for many of Melbourne’s most prestigious parties. The five-bedroom estate also features a championship tennis court, indoor/outdoor pool complex plus a 14-car basement garage.
